Privacy Policy

Effective September 19, 2026. This policy explains how Homekind handles information when you visit our website, contact us, or request services.

1. Information we collect

We may receive information you choose to provide when you call, email, inquire about services, schedule a visit, or communicate with Homekind. This may include:

Our website host may automatically process basic technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, pages requested, and access times for security, operation, and troubleshooting. Homekind does not currently use its own contact form, advertising tracker, or analytics cookie on this website.

2. How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, determine whether requested services are appropriate, schedule and provide services, communicate about visits, process payments, maintain business and safety records, improve our services, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How information may be shared

Homekind does not sell personal information. We may share only the information reasonably necessary with service providers that help operate the website, communications, scheduling, payment processing, or professional business functions. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights or safety of a client or another person, to investigate suspected fraud or misuse, or in connection with a business transfer.

4. Personal and sensitive conversations

Homekind offers nonmedical companionship and everyday support—not therapy, healthcare, legal services, emergency response, or crisis intervention. We treat personal conversations with care and discretion, but communications with Homekind are not protected by doctor-patient, therapist-client, or attorney-client privilege. Please do not send medical records, financial account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information by ordinary email.

5. Third-party services and links

If Homekind uses or links to a third-party scheduling, payment, email, telephone, mapping, or other service, that provider may collect information directly from you. Its own privacy policy governs its handling of that information. Homekind is not responsible for the privacy practices of unaffiliated websites or services.

6. Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining necessary business records, resolving concerns, and meeting legal, tax, insurance, or safety obligations. Retention time varies by the type of record.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate for a small service business. However, no website, email, telephone, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices

You may ask what personal information Homekind maintains about you and request that it be corrected or deleted. Some information may need to be retained when required by law or for legitimate business, safety, accounting, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes. You may also ask us to stop nonessential promotional communications.

8. Adults only

The Homekind website and services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly offer services to or collect personal information directly from anyone under 18. If we learn that information from a person under 18 was submitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Homekind grows or its practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will apply going forward unless the law requires otherwise.
